PALÉ HALL HOTEL: THE EXPERIENCE

Maybe because I was staying for a week, the majority of the hotel team members recognized my face and knew my name. One day, I bumped into some of the staffers at a pub in Bala after they had just finished their shifts, and I had a fun time chatting with them. They are the “Gosh, every hotel staff member should be like them” type of people. Being a guest at Palé Hall was more like visiting a lavish mansion owned by someone I know than staying at a regular five-star hotel. It is now on my “unforgettable hotel stays” list.

まる1週間いたせいか、ほとんどのスタッフが顔と名前を覚えてくれた。ある日、バラの街でパブに寄ったら、そのうちの数人が仕事を終えて一杯やっているのに偶然出くわし、しばらくおしゃべりを楽しんだ。彼らは「どんなホテルのスタッフもこんな感じだといいのに」と思えるような人たちだった。パレホールでの滞在は、いわゆる普通の5スターではなく、知り合いの誰かが所有する豪奢な邸宅に泊めてもらっている感じに近い。ここは今、僕の「忘れられない体験ができたホテル」リストに加えてある。
