PALÉ HALL HOTEL: CHECK-IN

I extended my English road trip and came to North Wales. This is my first time visiting Wales. For a week from today, I’m staying on an estate near the town of Bala, Gwynedd, whose Victorian country house once hosted Queen Victoria. The house and its surrounding parkland now form a hotel that belongs to Relais & Châteaux.

イングリッシュロードトリップを延長してウェールズの北へやってきた。ウェールズを訪れるのは初めて。今日から1週間、グウィネズのバラという街の近くにある、ヴィクトリア期のカントリーハウスを持ったエステートに滞在する。ハウスにはヴィクトリア女王ご本人も泊まったことがあるらしい。ハウスとそれを取り巻く緑あふれる土地はいま、ルレ・エ・シャトーに加盟するホテルになっている。

As soon as I arrived, David, a very kind and hospitable member of the hotel staff, took me to my suite in a golf cart.

到着したらすぐ、とても親切でボスピタリティたっぷりのホテルスタッフ、ディビッドが僕のスイートまでゴルフカートで連れていってくれた。
