EMIRATES A380 FIRST TO ICN: THE LOUNGE

This lounge is on another level. Here at Concourse A of Dubai International T3, the Emirates First Class Lounge occupies the entire third level of the concourse. It might be more accurate to call it a First Class terminal rather than a lounge, given its scale—and the fact that you can board directly from here via a F Class–only gate. It features a full-size duty-free shop, restaurants, bars, spacious nap rooms, countless seating areas, and a central avenue that belongs in a regular terminal. I’ve used many premium-class lounges around the world, but this is the first time I’ve found myself exhausted from walking while exploring the facilities. This is a lounge where you might actually get lost.

このラウンジは別格。ドバイ・インターナショナルT3のコンコースAでは、コンコースの3階部分全体がエミレーツのファーストクラスラウンジになっている。あまりに巨大で、しかもラウンジ内からFクラス専用ゲートを使って直接搭乗できるため、ラウンジというよりはファーストクラスターミナルと呼んだほうが適切かもしれない。中にはフルサイズの免税店、レストラン、バー、広々としたナップルーム、数えきれないほどのシーティングエリア、そして通常のターミナルで見かけるようなサイズの「中央大通り」がある。今まで世界中で様々なプレミアムクラスラウンジを体験してきたが、何があるのか見て回るうちに完全に歩き疲れてしまったのはここが初めて。これだけ広いと、迷子になってしまう人もいるかもしれない。
