From the breakfast staff to the receptionists, the hospitality extended by the people at this hotel was extraordinary. The Portuguese are pretty hospitable people in the first place, and perhaps the Thai ownership adds an extra layer of graciousness. The property has good old grand-hotel vibes, and I could feel its sense of grandeur and pride in every corner as a hotel that represents both the city and the country. Tivoli Avenida Liberdade has become one of my best hotels on the entire European continent.

朝食会場のスタッフからレセプショニストまで、このホテルで働く人たちのホスピタリティは実に素晴らしかった。ポルトガルの人は元来もてなしの心に満ちているが、加えてここの経営母体がタイのホテル会社であることも一役買っているかもしれない。全体的に古き良きグランドホテルの空気感があり、いたるところで街と国を代表するホテルとしての気品と誇りが感じられる。チボリアヴェニーダリベルダーデは全ヨーロッパで最も好きなホテルの一つになった。
