THE ORIGINAL DESTINATION LOUNGE

Revisiting the Virgin Atlantic Clubhouse at Heathrow T3. In the time when VS was still flying on the Heathrow-Narita route, this lounge was the hippest in the industry, the talk of the town, and one of the can't-miss places for any flyer. After seeing the continuous lounge innovations around the world, especially those by Middle Eastern airlines, it now feels less exceptional and not spacious enough. However, VS's flagship Clubhouse retains a unique vibe, and the people working here are fantastic.

ヒースローT3にあるヴァージンアトランティックのクラブハウスを再訪。かつてVSがヒースローと成田を結ぶ便を持っていた時代、このラウンジは業界で最もヒップで、注目の的で、フライヤーみんなが行ってみたがる場所だった。その後、中東系エアラインを中心にラウンジのイノベーションが世界中で続いてきたので、今では特別感があまりなく、全体的にちょっと狭く感じてしまう。とはいえ、ヴァージンのフラッグシップクラブハウスとしてのユニークなバイブスはまだまだ魅力的。そしてスタッフの皆さんはとても素晴らしい。
