A VIRGIN NEO TO JFK PART1

The morning flight I had booked to cross the pond was suddenly canceled on the day before my departure. Fortunately, I could quickly rebook an afternoon flight on the same day on the Virgin Atlantic app, so it didn't cause too much of an issue. The plane I boarded is an ultra brand-new A330neo named Ruby Rebel—it sounds like Mick Jagger singing with David Bowie.

予約していた大西洋横断の朝便が出発前日に突然キャンセルになった。しかし、ヴァージンアトランティックのアプリですばやく同日の午後便に変更できたので特に問題はない。搭乗したのはデリバーされたばかりの真新しいA330neoで、「ルビーレベル」というミックジャガーとデイヴィッドボウイが一緒に歌っている感じのシップネームがついている。

The first lunch. I chose Pan seared sea bream with a brown butter sauce, mushroom duxelles potato purée and broccolini. And it is, of course, served with the famous salt and pepper shakers. Virgin Atlantic A330-900 LHR-JFK. The 831st flight in my lifetime.
