THE DECK SAIGON

My instinct worked again. While looking for a place to have refreshments as I walked through the quiet residential area along the Saigon River, I found this hidden gem. It looks like a boutique resort hotel, but it’s actually a restaurant and bar with its signature terrace right on the water. They even serve breakfast and stay open until late every day. Next time I’m in the area, I’ll definitely come back for a proper meal.

今回もカンが冴えていた。サイゴン川沿いの静かな住宅地の中を歩きながら冷たいものを飲める場所を探していたところ、このかなりいい感じのスポットを発見。雰囲気はブティックリゾートホテルのようだが、川面の真上に置かれたテラスが名物のレストラン＆バーだった。朝食もとれて、深夜まで開いていて、なおかつ毎日営業。次のチャンスには、ちゃんとした食事をするために再訪したい。
