HAPPINESS BELONGS TO A LUNCH TABLE IN LISBON

Fabulous lunch at Restaurante Pinóquio at Restauradores Square with my Portuguese friends and my special people from Tokyo.

ランチを終えると、カフェ「ファブリカ・ダ・ナタ」でまた別のメインディッシュが待っていた。

The next day’s lunch—the essential of the essentials. A grilled sardine teishoku served with potatoes instead of grated white radish, and bread instead of rice. I call it Portuguese-Japanese food.

翌日のランチはこれ。基本中の基本。大根おろしの代わりにじゃがいもと、ご飯の代わりにパンと食べるいわしの塩焼き定食。僕はこれをポルトガル式和食と呼ぶ。
