「 」

Kagikakko means “brackets” in Japanese, and it’s the name of a cafe operated by high school students in Ishinomaki—their actual logo consists of nothing but a pair of brackets. The idea behind the name is that “you can put any possibilities in between.” Located in front of Ishinomaki Railway Station, the cafe opened a year after the 3.11 tsunami, with everything from interior design to catering and menu development handled by local high schoolers. In this city, students can find various opportunities beyond the walls of their schools.
