RONNIE AND 1986

One of my heroes in music, Ronnie James Dio, has passed away at the age of 67. This is a ticket for Dio’s 1986 concert at the Nippon Budokan. The show was suddenly canceled when the local promoter ran away with all the money. I never received a refund. I’ve kept the ticket for 24 years, and I’ll keep it until the day I see Dio’s show again—on the side he now belongs to.
