OKAHAN AND ROSANJIN

Sukiyaki and shabu-shabu dinner at Okahan, a restaurant in the Hotel New Otani Tokyo run by the family of a friend of my mother. The calligraphy on the wall is by Rosanjin Kitaoji, the artist who had his gourmet club in this neighborhood during the 1920s and ’30s.
