THE VIETNAM A350 WITH STELIA SOLSTYS SEATS

Flying to the Vietnamese capital on a VN A350. For some reason, Vietnam Airlines’ A350 has two versions with different seat models—the Stelia Solstys seats with a staggered layout and the Safran Cirrus seats with a reverse herringbone layout. This morning, my Hanoi-bound flight is operated by one with the Stelia Solstys seats, and I’ve booked one of the front-most real-window seats. Stelia Aerospace, the manufacturer of the seat, which is also selected for Garuda’s 777-300s, is a subsidiary of Airbus.

VNのA350でベトナムの首都へ向かう。理由はわからないが、ベトナム航空のA350は積んでいるシートが異なる2バージョンがある。一つはステリア・ソルスティスシートによるスタガードレイアウト。もう一つはサフラン・サイラスシートによるリバースヘリンボーンレイアウト。今朝のハノイ行きはステリア・ソルスティスのバージョンで運航されるため、より窓に近い真の窓際の中で一番前のシートをとっておいた。ガルーダの777-300にも積まれているソルスティスシートのメーカー、ステリア・エアロスペースはエアバスの子会社。
