LE ROYAL MONCEAU RAFFLES PARIS PART1

My home in Paris this time is in the 8th arrondissement, just a few blocks from the Arc de Triomphe. Le Royal Monceau first opened its doors in 1928 and underwent a dramatic transformation led by Philippe Starck between 2008 and 2010. Blending the classic Parisian hotel aesthetic with Starck’s signature avant-garde twist, it now belongs to the Raffles Hotels group, part of Accor. As a Royal Monceau guest, you might arrange a limo every time you go out. However, if you prefer more practical transport, the Charles de Gaulle–Étoile métro station is only a stone’s throw away.

今回のパリでの家は8区。凱旋門の近くにしてみた。ル ロイヤル モンソーが開業したのは1928年。そして2008年から2010年にかけてフィリップ・スタルクのもとで大規模な改修が行われた。クラシックなパリのホテルのテイストとスタルクならではのアヴァンギャルドなツイストをブレンドしたこのホテルは、現在アコーの一部であるラッフルズホテルグループに属している。ロイヤル モンソーの宿泊客ならば毎日リモで出かけるのがふさわしいだろうが、もっとプラクティカルな交通機関が良いという場合でも、メトロのシャルル・ド・ゴール＝エトワール駅が目と鼻の先に会って大変便利。
