FAST TRAIN TO A HOLY LAND PART1

The Haramain High Speed Railway uses the Talgo 350 push-pull train, built by the Spanish manufacturer Talgo. The design is based on the Renfe Class 102, developed for Spain’s AVE high-speed service, with a maximum operating speed said to reach 300 km/h. Now it’s time to get a taste of the first—and currently the only—high-speed train in the Middle East, bound for a holy city.

ハラマイン高速鉄道はスペインのメーカー、タルゴが製造したタルゴ350プッシュプル列車を使っている。この車両の原型はスペインの高速列車AVEのために開発されたレンフェ102系で、営業運転での最高時速は300キロらしい。中東で初めての、そして現時点では唯一の高速列車をテイスティングしながら、聖なる街へ向かう。
