EXPLORING DOWNTOWN RIYADH

Today, I take a stroll around the Al-Murabba neighborhood, where you can find a beautifully preserved old palace.

今日は、古い宮殿が美しく保存されているアル・ムラッバ地区を散歩する。

Another day. I came to Al-Safat Square, a.k.a. Deera Square, and had a tasty cup of coffee while listening to the adhan for the evening prayer. It seems the square was once used for public executions by beheading. Currently, this place doesn’t feel that bloody, though.

また別の日。アル・サファト広場、別名ディーラ広場で、夕方のアザーンを聞きながら美味いコーヒーを楽しむ。どうやらかつてはこの場所で、断頭による公開処刑が行われていたらしい。今はそのような血生臭い感じがする場所ではないが。
