EMIRATES GAME CHANGER FIRST: THE SUITE PART1

I’ve got Suite 1A. Departure of the flight is past midnight, and the cabin already has starry skies on its ceiling and floor.

予約しておいたのはスイート1A。フライトの出発は真夜中過ぎなので、機内ではすでに天井にも床にも星空が広がっている。

The Game Changer First has six suites—three in each row. My neighbor, Suite 1E, along with 2F in the second row, is a middle seat but has windows. They’re of course not real windows but virtual ones showing the actual outside view using a camera, which symbolizes how Emirates wants this cabin to be over the top. Fortunately, 1E is unoccupied on this flight, so I can see outside through both the real windows and the virtual ones.

ゲームチェンジャーファーストのスイートは各列に3つ、合計6つ。お隣のスイート1Eとその後ろの2Fはいわゆるミドルシートだが、窓がついている。これはもちろん本物の窓ではなく、カメラがとらえた機外の風景をそのまま映し出すバーチャルウィンドウで、エミレーツならではの豪華さ大盛り感の象徴。今回は幸運にも1Eに乗客がいなかったので、リアルなウィンドウとバーチャルウィンドウの両方から外の様子を眺めることができた。
