A WELSH ROAD TRIP: A VICTORIAN DAM

I came to Lake Vyrnwy, south of Bala. This lake is a reservoir and has a dam. But this is not just another dam—it is a Victorian dam constructed between 1881 and 1888 as the first large stone-built dam in the UK. It is now a nice place to enjoy ice cream, so I did.
