This is my first time using Delta's brand-new Delta One exclusive check-in counter at LAX T5. Their slogan to introduce this new facility is "LAX to LUX".
LAX T5にできた、デルタの新しいDelta One専用チェックインカウンターを初めて使ってみた。この新しいファシリティを紹介するスローガンは「LAX to LUX」。
The main feature of the lobby is the desk built from the horizontal stabilizer of a Delta DC-9,
N401EA, which used to fly for Eastern and Northwest.
これがロビーの目玉。かつてイースタンやノースウエストで飛んでいたデルタのDC-9、
N401EAの水平安定板から作られたデスク。
This is a pretty nice upgrade. The only downside is that you still have to go through the conventional security lanes after checking in. I was expecting an experience similar to the one at the
Virgin Atlantic Upper Class Wing in Heathrow T3.
とても素晴らしいアップグレードだが、唯一残念なのは、チェックインの後にこれまでと同じセキュリティを通過しなければならないこと。ヒースローのT3にある
ヴァージンアトランテックのアッパークラスウイングでの体験と似たものを期待していたのだが。
