LAST-MINUTE BIRD-WATCHING AT SEA-TAC

My bird-watching at Sea-Tac never stops until just before takeoff. This is United’s retrojet A320 “Friend Ship,” wearing the airline’s livery from the 1960s and ’70s. I still wonder why United didn’t choose a Boeing — one of its historical origins.

シータックで離陸直前までバードウォッチングを続ける。こちらは1960-70年代のカラーリングをまとったUAのレトロジェット「A320フレンドシップ」。自社の歴史的原点の一つであるボーイングを選ばなかったのはなぜだろう。

A 767-300 operated by Tulsa-based charter carrier Omni Air International. This bird once flew for airlines such as Air New Zealand, Air Niugini, and VIVA Macau.

タルサを本拠地とするチャーターオペレーター、オムニエアインターナショナルの767-300。ニュージーランド航空、ニューギニア航空、ビバ・マカオなどで使われていた機体。
