THE RITZ-CARLTON, LAKE TAHOE

Moved to the Ritz-Carlton, driving along a winding mountain road that crosses a ski gondola cable. What I found among the highland trees was the same warm Ritz-Carlton hospitality I always enjoy in Roppongi—which means “six trees” in Japanese. Very reassuring, especially in the backcountry.

曲がりくねった山道を走り、スキーのゴンドラのケーブルを越え、リッツ・カールトンに引っ越す。高原の木々の中にあるのは、いつも六本木にあるのと変わらないリッツ・カールトンの素晴らしいホスピタリティ。特にこんな山の中では、なんだかほっとする。
