PORTLAND-BOUND

On a fine day, I'm flying to Portland, Oregon, on Delta's 767-300 with winglets.

よく晴れた日。ウイングレットのついたデルタの767-300でオレゴンのポートランドへ。

I’ve been waiting for this for years. My familiar “commuter plane” to SFO—Delta’s 767-300—has finally received flat-bed seats, and this is my first flight with them. The newly upgraded cabin also features a redesigned galley and larger, easier-to-use lavatories. Unlike the herringbone-style solo seats on Delta’s 747s and 777s, the 767s now have a staggered seat layout.

何年も待っていたものがやってきた。僕のSFOへの「通勤機」でもあるデルタの767-300がついにフラットベッドシートを搭載。今回のフライトでそれを初めて体験する。新しくアップグレードされたインテリアではギャレーの位置が変わり、ラバトリーも大きな、より使いやすいものになっている。デルタの747と777はヘリンボーンスタイルのソロシートだが、767はスタッガードのレイアウト。
