RAIN, TEARS, AND A 747

Watching one of the last remaining JAL 747-400s from my familiar spot at NRT T1. Today and tomorrow mark the final days for these planes to belong to an airline that once had the largest 747 fleet in the world. Sad—even though I’ve never been a big fan of Japan Airlines.

NRT 1タミの馴染みの場所から、JAL最後の747-400のうちの1機を見る。今日、そして明日は、かつて世界で最も多くの747を持っていたエアラインに属する彼らの最後の日。日本航空のファンではないが、寂しい。
