A 1939 TOUR T-SHIRT

A wonderful gift arrived from Mr. Mitsutoshi Okano of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries’ Corporate Historical Museum in Komaki, Nagoya, which I recently visited. It’s MHI’s exclusive T-shirt commemorating the 70th anniversary of Nippon-Go’s round-the-world flight—a great collector’s item.

先日お邪魔した名古屋・小牧にある三菱重工史料室の岡野允俊さんから素晴らしいギフトが届いた。「ニッポン号」による世界一周フライトの70周年を記念した三菱重工特製のTシャツ。かなりのコレクターズアイテム。

The back of the shirt lists all the ports called by the Mitsubishi plane. It’s like a band tour T-shirt and a tour took place in 1939.

背中にはこの三菱機による寄港地がすべてが入っていてバンドのツアーTのよう。でもこれは1939年のツアー。
