A KOREAN BEAUTY

Another treasure found on the hill: a Lockheed Constellation, a.k.a. “Connie,” stored in airworthy condition at Jung Seok Airfield, which is operated as a training facility exclusively for Korean Air. This beautiful four-engine propeller aircraft, painted in the old Air Korea colors, is one of the rare survivors.

また別の宝物を丘の上で発見。「コニー」の愛称で知られるロッキード・コンステレーションが、コリアンエア専用の訓練施設として使われている静石飛行場でフライアブルな状態で保存されている。旧エアコリアの塗装をまとったこの美しい4発のプロップエアライナーは、数少ない生き残りのうちの一機。
