ELLENBOROUGH PARK: CHECK-IN

Came back to the Cotswolds. This area has several charming hotels, and following my stay at Whatley Manor, I chose Ellenborough Park near the town of Cheltenham this time . When I say Whatley Manor is located on the south side of the Cotswolds, this country house hotel is rather on the north side.

コッツウォルズに戻ってきた。この地方では良いホテルがいくつか見つかるが、前回のワットリー・マナーに続いて選んだのは、チェルトナムの街の近くにあるエレンバラパーク。ワットリー・マナーがコッツウォルズの南側なのに対し、このカントリーハウスホテルは北側に位置する。

The hotel gave me a room that spans two connected spaces—one on the upper floor of the tower next to the stone-built gate, and the other on the adjacent second floor. It feels like I’m staying here as a sentinel.

石造りの門に接して立つこの塔の上層と、その横にある2階のスペースを使っている部屋をもらった。なんとなく歩哨として滞在する感じ。
