The more I walk, the more I come across Mongolian socialist beauties. This is the southwest end of the National University of Mongolia building, which looks like a long city wall.
街を歩いて行くと、モンゴル式の美しい社会主義建築がどんどん見つかる。こちらはモンゴル国立大学のシティウォールのように長い建物の南西部分。
Across the street from the university there is a typical Soviet apartment with a typical Soviet vaulted corridor that invites me to see what's on the other side.
モン大の向かいにある典型的なソビエト式アパートメント。典型的なソビエト式アーチ型通路がついているので、つい反対側が見たくなってしまう。
NUM's School of Business building with a statue of Jambyn Batmunkh, a communist political leader known as "Mongolia's Gorbachev" who laid the foundation for Mongolia's 1990 democratic revolution.
こちらはモン大のビジネススクール校舎。前に立っているのは、モンゴルのゴルバチョフとして知られる人民党書記長ジャムビィン・バトムンフの像。バトムンフは1990年のモンゴル民主化運動につながるきっかけを作った。
Mongolian Art Center for Children's Creativity. It's great to see that this country has a grand mansion dedicated to children's art.
モンゴル児童創造芸術センター。子どもたちの創造力のためだけに壮麗な館を持っているのが素晴らしい。
大学をもう一つ。1951年に設立された国立のモンゴル教育大。略して「モン教大」。
