MUSEUM OF AERONAUTICAL SCIENCES PART3

The main feature of the museum's outdoor gallery is JA8611, the first NAMC YS-11 built as a prototype. In my entire flying life, I have only flown with this Japanese built turboprop once between Aomori and Chitose on a Toa Domestic Airlines flight when I was a kid. It's lovely to see an American service truck with the modern United logo serving her. A luggage tow truck with the old ANA logotype is also cute.

ミュージアムの屋外展示場の目玉はこれ。日本航空機製造YS-11のプロトタイプ初号機であるJA8611。子どもの頃、東亜国内航空が運航するYS-11で青森から千歳まで飛んだことがあるが、自分の長いフライト人生の中でYSに乗れたのはその一度だけだった。近年のUAのロゴがついたアメ車のサービストラックが横にいるのがなかなか良い。ANAの古いロゴタイプを持つラゲッジトーイングカーもキュート。

And this is the Cessna 195, JA3007, named Asakaze (Morning Breeze), once owned by the Asahi Shimbun News Company.

こちらは、かつて朝日新聞社が所有していたセスナ195「朝風」。レジはJA3007。
