FISHING PORTS IN OSHIKA

I visited fishery ports on the Oshika Peninsula—such as Makinohama and Oginohama—with the Triton Project crew. After checking out how they are managing oyster farming, we could have a meeting with fishery association staff to discuss the project.

TRITON PROJECTのクルーと一緒に牧浜や荻浜といった牡鹿半島にある漁港を訪れた。牡蠣の養殖の様子を見た後には、漁協のスタッフの方とプロジェクトに関するミーティングを持つこともできた。

The project is turning this unused house at Oginohama village into the Triton Oshika, the 4th Triton Base of Triton Project. Triton Oshika will have a support center called Triton Center run by Ishinomaki City for those who want to become a professional fisherman. The base will also have a shared house and a lodging function.

荻浜にあるこの使われていない家は、TRITON PROJECTによってTRITON OSHIKAという4つ目のTRITON BASEに生まれ変わる。TRITON OSHIKAは、フィッシャーマンになりたい人たちのために石巻市が用意する担い手センターの「TRITON CENTER」と、シェアハウス、宿泊機能を持つ予定。
