SANSOU MURATA PART1

In kanji characters, the name of this inn means "Infinite tower". Luckily I could book a room.

But they gave us a house, not a room.

They relocated and restored an old Japanese house from Niigata, one that features a doma (an earthen-floored entryway) and an irori (traditional Japanese hearth), then transformed it into this two-story villa. Upstairs is a spacious bedroom, and dinner is served in one of the tatami rooms. The world of folklore, the authenticity of a traditional Japanese inn, and the comfort of a modern hotel coexist harmoniously under one roof.

There is also an over-sized hot spring bath in the villa. If you open up the window, it turns into a semi-open-air bath. Perfect.
