I’m a stranger in this city, so I let the Michelin Guide be my concierge and found this starred Kyoto restaurant, quietly surrounded by the darkness of a Sagano night. We enjoyed a carefully prepared local delicacy of autumn. As we were leaving, the owner and chef, Mr. Inoue, gave us a warm send-off.

ここでは他所者。だからミシュランガイドをコンシェルジュ代わりにする。今夜は嵯峨野の夜の闇に包まれた場所にある、星を得たこの京料理屋へ。丁寧に作られた京都らしい秋の味覚を満喫した後は、ご主人の井上さんが温かく見送ってくれた。
