A CAMBODIAN FLIGHT BY A VIETNAMESE

Royal Air Cambodge. Royal Phnom Penh Airways. President Airlines. Angkor Airways. Siem Reap Airways International. And Royal Khmer Airlines. Many airlines have come and gone here in Cambodia. Today, Cambodia Angkor Air seems to be recognized as the national flag carrier. I’m flying to Phnom Penh on one of their two ATRs, operating the country’s only domestic air route.

ロイヤルエアカンボージュ。ロイヤルプノンペン航空。プレジデント航空。アンコール航空。シェムリアップエアウェイズ。ロイヤルクメール航空。ここカンボジアでは多くのエアラインが生まれては消えた。いまはこのカンボジアアンコール航空がナショナルフラッグキャリアになっているらしい。この国唯一の国内路線を飛ぶ、彼らが持つ2機のATRのうちの1機でプノンペンに向かう。

Although it’s the national flag carrier, the airline is operated by Vietnam Airlines, and all aircraft carry “VN” registrations—Vietnam’s code.

ナショナルフラッグキャリアとはいえ、オペレーションはベトナム航空がやっている。航空機のレジストレーションも「VN」、つまりベトナム所属。
