THE NEW NEX

I took the new Narita Express E259 series EMU for the first time. The Green Car now has a 2-2 seating configuration. The smell of the brand-new leather seats isn’t bad, but I prefer the solo seats of the older 2-1 layout. Another example of JR’s downgraded service.

新しい成田エクスプレス、E259系に初めて乗る。グリーン車は2-2の座席配置になった。真新しいレザーシートの匂いは悪くないが、以前の2-1座席配置のソロシートの方がよっぽど良い。JRによるサービス格下げの一例。
