Another charm of this hotel is its restaurant. In addition to the tasty cuisine made with carefully selected local ingredients, the table layout—including a 15-meter-long bar counter designed to prevent direct eye contact with other guests—is also wonderful. Your eyes are naturally drawn to the action in the open kitchen and the forest trees beyond. Breakfast, served as a set, was perfect for someone like me who isn’t a fan of buffet-style mornings.

このホテルのもう一つの魅力はレストラン。丁寧に選ばれた地元の食材を使った料理も素晴らしいが、15メートルのバーカウンターテーブルを含め、他のテーブルの客と視線が交差しないよう意図されたテーブルレイアウトが良い。眼は自然とオープンキッチンの中の動きと、その後ろの木立に惹きつけられる。ビュッフェブレックファーストが嫌いな僕のような人間にとっては、セットでサーブされる朝食も実に結構。
