CAN ALITALIA KEEP FLYING?

Italy’s national flag carrier is in trouble. Recent takeover talks between Air France–KLM and Alitalia collapsed after resistance from the AZ union. There are reports that negotiations with AF–KL may reopen, and rumors that a group of Italian businessmen, together with Lufthansa, are preparing a rescue. The airline is running out of money to keep its planes flying, and Italy’s political situation only adds to the uncertainty. This is my e-ticket for a flight on the 21st of this month. Will I actually be able to fly on Alitalia? And where will that fabulous in-flight coffee go?
