2ND RTW 4: NARITA-ITAMI

Traveling from Narita to Kyoto via Osaka Itami, I asked, “Can I have 2C?” and the check-in agent replied, “Sorry, this flight doesn’t have Row C.” I said, “It’s the 777, right? It should have Row C,” and she answered, “I’m sorry, but we only have Row D.” So weird, I thought. The reason turned out to be that a 777 with the international configuration had been assigned to this domestic route because of the fleet schedule, which meant Super Seat passengers now get the international first class cabin. So lucky.

成田から大阪伊丹を経由して京都へ。僕：「2Cは空いていますか？」　チェックインカウンターのお姉さん：「申し訳ありませんがC列というのがないんです」　僕：「これ、トリプルセブンですよね？ ない、ということはないはずですが」　チェックインカウンターのお姉さん：「すいません。D列ならありますが・・・」僕：「ではそれで。（でもそんなはずは・・・）」　理由はこれ。機材繰りの関係で投入された国際線仕様のトリプルセブン。スーパーシートの乗客は国際線ファーストクラスキャビンへ。ラッキー。

Then I changed my mind and took Row A with a window. I can have a full-flat experience on a one-hour flight. I only wish I could fly to Rio in this seat.

で、気が変わって窓際A席を確保。たった1時間でもフルフラット。この席でリオまで行きたいもの。
