A HAPPY NEW FLYING YEAR

2007 flew away at supersonic speed. I hope 2008 can fly at least at subsonic. Eight is a lucky number in both China and Japan, and this “year of 8” welcomes the Airbus A380 entering service and the delivery of the Boeing 787. I wish everyone who visits this blog a happy Year of 8. This unglazed Aerolíneas Argentinas model is the one I bought in Santa Cruz, Bolivia. I will start my second RTW trip, including South America and South Africa, on the 9th.

2007年は超音速で飛び去った。2008年はせめて亜音速で飛んで欲しいもの。中国と日本でラッキーナンバーとされる8の年である今年は、エアバスA380の本格サービス開始とボーイング787のデリバリー開始の年にもあたる。このブログを訪れてくれたすべての方にとって素晴らしい「8の年」でありますように。写真の素焼きのアルゼンチン航空はボリビアのサンタクルズで買ったもの。南米と南アを含む2度目の世界一周を9日より開始する。
